Network Marketing vs. Pyramid Scheme

I have no clue what a pyramid scheme really is. #thinkonechange
Pyramid schemes and network marketing are the same #thinkonechange
I would never buy from a work at home company because they are out to rip you off #thinkonechange
I don't know what network marketing really is but I hear it is bad #thinkonechange

I would rather buy from the corporate world and people I don't know instead of helping friends and family #thinkonechange
Network marketing companies are just an optical illusion and don't really help anyone. #thinkonechange
What do you know about network marketing vs pyramid schemes? Have you ever thought about it? I would love to hear what you think the difference is, if anything.
