So as we have talked about before Young Living will not use plants or fruits that are lacking in the quality. They have a standard and they are not willing to bend or compromise those standards.
This is a huge reason I love this company. I do not have to worry that I am going to get an oil that is lacking in quality. I don’t have to worry that the bottle I am using is going to have synthetics or harmful chemicals in them. I can trust that whatever container I am currently open is the purest of quality.
Still because of this high standard there are times that we, Young Living users have to get a tad bit creative. Sometimes we need to create our own favorite blends or find a replacement for a blend or favorite essential oil we have.
One of our all time favorites in this house is Peace & Calming. Unfortunately there was a problem with one of the oils used in this blend and so we have been out and needed to become creative.
The single oils that are typically in this blend are:
- Ylang Ylang
- Blue Tansy
We have used this to help calm children and adults. We have used it when we have the occasional blues going on around here. We have used it for relaxation to help at night, which also relaxes my children enough so that there isn’t any teeth clenching going on.
Since it is out creativity has needed to take place. I did some searching and this is the one I prefer the most! And after last week I really was in need of my Peace & Calming to unwind.
The single oils that are in the DIY Peace & Calming blend are:
- Ylang Ylang
- German or Roman Chamomile
I would not change the essential oil company I am with because occasionally products are out! I love that products are out from time to time because it truly means they care about us and they are not willing to compromise and take risks with what they put into those essential oil bottles!
Our family is very blessed to have found Young Living and I wouldn’t change it for anything!
